Lifestyle is a Socrates Comenius
Action 1 Project conducted by 5 European schools who have been working together on another
Socrates Project (on environmental problems) for 3 years, so the Partners know each other
very well, and there is also a good friendship among them. This is a good starting point
for working together in the right way, and for creating a useful collaboration among the
students.
THE THEME
Lifestyle is today becoming less and less depended on where we live, on place or
traditions.
New methods of communication and technology have the effect that trends, lifestyle,
fashion and culture are spread at a very fast rate.
National character often becomes pushed into the background.
This is also the case in a number of lifestyle areas where European integration has
developed for many years. It should be of great interest to have a look at lifestyle
trends as a theme in a new project!
During the initial phase of the Project, we have
devided the whole topic in a number of sub-topic, so that each partner can work on one of
them with his students. The results of the first study will be exchanged among the schools
before the beginning of the second phase. Here are the sub-topics and the teams who will
be working on them:
